It was almost Midnight, Inari just finished her paper works and sneaked out of the kage's mansion to have some fun, she was pretty tierd, but for inari, the fun time is divine and she must take a break before sleeping or working,
She yawned and stood at the roof of the mansion, watching her village from above, and her thoughts began to rush into her mind, she thought about the pressure she was feeling as the mizukage, she was young and began to second guess of her abilities of protecting her village, she thought about the problems her village's facing, about her agreement with konoha and wiether if its the right or wrong choice,
She sighed quietly and looked up at the sky, like she was praying silently to the unknown.

The moon hung low in the sky, despite it being so late in the night. A small, perhaps frail figure could be seen slipping through the buildings, silent as a shadow. There was no reason to alert the citizens that she was here. Most would be shocked, of course, and she would definetely be captured. She couldn't risk that. But she could sneak around unnoticed, provided that nobody of S-rank or Kage level was here.
Mai held the ghost of a smile on her face, while jumping from shadow to shadow, never staying out in the light for more than a moment. Her eyes narrowed as footsteps were heard. In a silent night such as this, how could they not? Pink hair. Mizukage? It couldn't be. Just on the first night she would go exploring in this village, she meets the Mizukage? Mai almost smiled at her luck. Good or bad, it didn't matter. The fact was that it had happened.
She stayed hidden in the shadows, ready to use a Kawarimi (substitute/replacement) if needed. Her emerald eyes were ghost-like, keeping a close watch on the girl and hoping she didn't notice.
