There the Yamanaka girl sat, a lock of blonde hair falling over her right eye. She was flicking through books; books passed down from many generations above. One could see a pile of thick, heavy books beside her, on the table. In fact, she was looking for something. And the library was the best place. It's gotta be here somewhere...
The truth was that Yamanaka Ino was looking for medical books. She wanted to learn more. What she knew now wasn't enough. And why should it be? She needed to surpass Sakura. After all these years, that passion had not died down. It was, after all, Sarutobi Asuma's dying wish. One by one, Ino flicked through them, then threw them aside. On her other side, one could see a bigger pile of books, which grew larger as the other pile grew smaller. You guessed it. One pile was the books she had already read. The other was the ones she had yet to read. And she had to get through a lot.
