Remorse stumbled along the road, a little drunk admittedly which was a feat in itself. Considering the kind and amount of liquor he usually drank he had built up an immunity to it, and it took a lot of a very potent liquor to get him drunk at this point. Come to think of it, I'm not actually sure he even drinks water, he's only ever been seen drinking Sake. O right the post sorry. . .
As Remorse stumbled along the road he nearly lost balance and began forward, where he landed on his knees and caught himself from falling further by holding onto a tree.

Standing on a branch directly above Remorse, Loki stood with a disappointed look in his visible eye. "I hope you're not one of the Akatsuki. . . I heard they're the most dangerous ninja around, and one of them wields a giant blade. I hope the Akastsuki aren't drunks, somehow that's a little dissapointing to me if you are in fact the one called Kisame."
Loki looked at the man in his red coat, while the blade description did match none of the others he had heard did. Not that an Akatsuki was the reason he had come out this far for his village, but still the Akatsuki were something he could report on if he found them during his ventures. This man didn't wear the traditional cloak of the Akatsuki, nor was he blue in general. Clearly this drunk was no master ninja, just some wandering fool.

Remorse wasn't too concerned with the ninja, and he didn't view the little guy as a threat, but he would simply not shut up though and it was getting annoying. "Shut the hell up. You're to calm to be a real ninja, and if you were a real ninja you wouldn't be trying to hunt down the Akatsuki, they'll chew you up and spit you out. So shut up and leave me alone."
A note about Remorse, while he is naturally a happy go lucky type, he is very irritable when he is drunk. Annoying him when he's drunk often brings on a flurry of drunk blows, not the most accurate, but without good muscle coordination it's not sure whether you'll be tapped or hurled through a wall from his punches.

Loki was still apathetic despite the insults he had received. Loki was the kind of ninja who wasn't surprised nor startled by many things, in fact he showed very few emotions to be honest, except joy. "I see, so you admit you are not the Akatsuki. Then I have wasted my time with a drunk and had better be on my way." Loki leapt down from the tree landing next to Remorse and began walking away.

"I thought I said shut the hell up." Remorse stabbed his blade into the tree and spun around with impressive speed (the speed gained from no longer carrying that large blade) and delivered a light punch to Loki's shoulder. He pulled back again and swung again for the back of Loki's head in his anger.

Loki felt the light punch and found himself wondering how he could have ever mistaken this man for a legendary ninja like the Akatsuki. He was far to weak, in fact how the hell did he carry that large blade of his if he was so weak? As Loki turned around to say something his apathetic face met the fist of Remorse, this time the blow was a little different. . .

The force of this blow was much stronger than the previous punch Remorse had dealt thus the result were startlingly different. While the punch was the strongest Remorse was capable of it certainly was devastating as it sent Loki like a missle straight through two trees where he finally then hit the earth and tumbled 5 yards along the ground. "See? Now that's shut up, as well as leaving me alone.

Loki slowly got to his feet and began brushing off the dirt and wood chips on him, "Huh, maybe he is strong." Despite how shocking the blow had been Loki didn't seem to concerned with how sudden it had been, "Maybe he is strong enough that I'll have something to report when I come home. I think his drunk stupor might give me a chance to sneak up on him and hear his name. I just have to be careful not to receive any more direct punches likes those."

Remorse turned around and wrenched his blade from the tree with ease. Hefting it up onto his shoulder he began slowly walking down the path again a little less stumbling than before but still a little shakey as he walked.

Loki nimbly leaped up into the tree branches and swiftly and as quietly as he could go ran along them catching up with the his new target. This man didn't seem to be much of a ninja. . . at least he didn't abide by the basics of ninja. Hiding your presence when moving was usually a must, but this man walked around with a giant blade on his shoulder in a drunk stupor. . . quite the opposite of what he was used to. Still Loki stalked him silently in the trees just above him and nearly invisible.

As Remorse walked along he passed by a few travellers and stopped to ask them, "Excuse me, you don't happen to have a few coins for a travelling man do you? I'm a little down on my luck you see and I fear when I reach the next town I may not have a place to stay. . ." The men turned him down at first due to the fact he hadn't done anything to earn it and accused him of being drunk.

Loki was perched quietly a few yards above the scene making mental notes of what he observed to himself. So the man begs for money, even though he's powerful enough that he could merely kill them take their money and possessions and walk away as if never happened. This man was different than your usual dangerous men, he had some odd system of manners.

Remorse smiled, "What if I dealt with the man who's been following you? Would you say I'd earned some money by disposing of a thug who wants your money and possibly your lives?" The men were confused but they did agree that it would certainly earn the drunk a bit of money. Remorse grinned wolfishly and slammed his armored arm into the three beside them. The vibrations shot up the tree violently.

As the vibrations shot upwards suddenly shaking the branch beneath Loki, he lost his balance and fell off the branch. As he began to fall he pulled out a kunai as a reaction and held it ready to strike suddenly at an enemy. Had the drunk known he had been there the whole time?

Post by Adori The Exiled on Sept 21, 2008 14:20:15 GMT -5
Adori was walking down a main road enjoying the day. Adori enjoyed few things but a nice day with a cool breeze was one of them. The breeze blew his long hair in the wind making it whip in the wind like the bottom of his cloak. He tied his cloak a little tighter so it was not to blow off. He was likely never to find an akatsuki cloak again, he treasured it being his only connection to the one's he wanted to kill. As Adori made his way down the road he saw a confrontation, and readied himself for anything. It seemed there was a man with a large blade and another nin who looked as though he was going to attack someone.... next to them it looked like two travelers. Adori made his way towards them, he was ready for an attack but was going to just pass them by if no one noticed him.
